System Monitor: Network graph reports 3 to 5 times higher readings in Windows Vista 32 #72

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. The problem is occurring in Windows Vista 32 bit. I use the same gadget
in Windows XP on the same PC, with the same wireless card and it gives the
expected readings.
2. Trying to compare this tool to other Google Desktop Sidebar gadgets, Net
Meter gave correct readings (note: they were in Mbits rather than bytes.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
I notice that the System Monitor Network bandwidth readings are anywhere
between 3 to 5 times as high as they should be in Windows Vista. 

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Windows Vista 32 bit.
