What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. install google desktop
2. set quick launch items
3. reboot
What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
quick launch icons gone
What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?

this happens in windows xp sp3 with IE 8 rc1
Please provide any additional information below.
remve google desktop quick launch work again
