What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Open the Currency Converter gadget
2. Click the first two currencies and set them to CAD, CHF
3. To confirm that the options are saved correctly, close Google Desktop
(via Exit on the system tray), and then restart Google Desktop
4. Now set the first two currencies to something else, e.g. AED, ARS
5. Shut down Windows, restart Windows
6. When Google Desktop restart, the Currency Converter gadget will appear
with CAD, CHF, confirming that these options were saved correctly when
Google Desktop was terminated via the tray menu, and that the options are
instead not saved when the system shuts down
What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Upon system shutdown, gadget options should be saved, like they are saved
when Google Desktop is exited. Instead, changes to options are lost.
What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
5.8 (current download) on Windows XP.
