This PR addresses a few issues brought up after the original PR adding the third-party integrations user guide page had been merged:

Rework code examples so they don't clutter each others' data (also moved them into separate Python scripts for sake of testability)
Reword reference to quickstart guide for setting up sample data repo
Unify imports in code snippets
