pH monitor shows incorrect levels

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. start any simulation

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
the pH levels are both too low and too high.

Do you know how this issue might be addressed?
The algorithm needs adjustment.  We have discussed this in meetings before, and 
a solution was worked out (I think).  Essentially, it regards mapping estimated 
values to high/low points in the graph.
