Comparison of energy certificate to others / own history

Implement a way for users to compare their energy efficiency performance (i.e. certificate) A) to the others users of the service and B) to their own past history.

The rationale is that comparing your own performance to others is a typical gamification feature to drive desired behaviour. Also, if you can follow your own improvement you are more likely to strive for improvement.

Thoughts:

• Should be available only after 'enough' data has been collected by the users, e.g. 1 week
• Could be shown as 'you are in the best 5%' for last week / all time - e.g. for certain time period(s) or as a position: '432nd out of 5002 users'
• If calculated e.g. weekly could also indicate how the last week's performance/position compares to previous week / all time average, etc. in relation to own history and all users
• In the future, could also be created for 'in groups', 'mini-leagues' for people. For example, TrafficSense researchers could form a 'mini-league' for energy certificates where the members could see how they perform in relation to others; comparison and competition vs. people you know is a stronger persuasive force than vs strangers

The actual implementation of the ranking calculations is on the server, the client only displays the energy certificate image it receives.
