Application hangs up and becomes unresponsive #89

I have found that if I open the statistics window on procrastitracker and then it leaves the foreground (perhaps by clicking google) if I try to alt-tab or click the open procrastitracker window it will not come to the foreground and when I am finally able to see the application none of the color coded bars are visible and the window is not able to be modified in any way; otherwise, it will become unresponsive.

Troubleshooting I couldn't figure out

Computer Specs

This application has been a lifesaver so far in keeping myself accountable and helping me compartmentalize my progress which is instrumental in not getting overwhelmed in the projects I am trying to get done and taking things one step at a time if it would be at all possible to help me I would greatly appreciate it because I have seen replies on this repo of people saying they have data spanning 9 years and it sucks that the application is getting hung up like it has been

Final update to try to paint as clear of a picture as possible, when I interact with any internet browser on my computer procrastitracker locks up and becomes unresponsive, I am almost certain it did nothing of the sort during the first week I've had it, it started last night as of this being posted.

I can't reproduce this locally.. if I have it go to the background, any way I make it come back up it is still responsive.

That said, I don't think it was intended for the statistics view to stay permanently open. I would simply close it the moment I am done with it, would that also make the problem go away?

As for the files, if I start typing procrastitracker in Windows start search (just proc will do) it shows me both the program and also Database Files. You should backup the db.PT you find in there to another machine/cloud if you want to save its current state. The other files are simply backups it makes should you want to revert to a previous time.
