Currently +/- keys on N8x0 navigate through multiple articles (a word may be present in multiple dictionaries or have multiple translations in the same dictionary). This is the way it was in SDict Viewer (which doesn't have text increase/decrease) and hasn't changed since. While it seems natural that +/- should change the font size, an argument can be made that user typically sets the preferred font size once and rarely adjusts it afterwards, while switching between multiple translations is a frequent operation (currently there are not many dictionaries in aard format, but it's easy to compile them from XDXF and Wiktionary, so multi-dictionary use case is an important one). On the other hand, it's easy enough to switch between articles by tapping article tab label, so maybe +/- indeed should be used to change text size. Opinions, suggestions?

Good point, I wasn't aware of that feature. Need to resize font was my initial reaction to aardict and because the expected +/- keys didn't work it felt like a bug.
I have only one dictionary so +/- keys don't do anything
