Aardvark appears to launch, but silently fail #148

I downloaded the 0.14.1 installer for Aardvark, and it seems to crash or exit shortly after launching. Not running explicitly as administrator seemed to cause the aardvarkxr process to not appear in the Task Manager, whereas running as administrator caused it to appear in the process list for a few seconds, then disappear. Nothing appeared in VR after attempting to start it, despite the smiley faces in the logs! :)

I did have to allow Windows firewall to open the port the first time I ran, but subsequent runs didn't require it, so I assume it took.

Windows 10 Pro 1909 Nvidia 2080TI AMD Threadripper SteamVR 1.13.10 Index HMD

Mystery solved!

Aardvark crashes is SteamVR isn't open, and it has to be run as administrator in Windows. I had run as administrator, and I had run after SteamVR was started, but I didn't do both of those things at the same time.

Neither SteamVR nor Aardvark should need to be run as admin.

Though if you run SteamVR as admin, likely anything that talks to SteamVR will also need to be run as admin.
