Option to disable pointer/IR on game selection screen #62

Would it be possible to have an option in the config file to disable the 
IR/Pointer? I do not use the pointer to navigate, and instead use the d-pad. 
However the problem is sometimes the pointer jumps because of ambient light and 
causes the wrong game to be selected.

Though this is rare, it is preventable by having this as an option.

I don't consider this to be such a big issue to require a new option.
won't fix.
