Memory usage problem #336

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1.Start Transmission remote

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
The memory usage is extreme hight, i have seen the transmission remote to use 
200Mb of memory instead of 45Mb TR.net 3.22 stable uses.

What version of the products are you using?
OS:win 7 pro and ultimate (2 pcs)
Transmission: 2.10
Remote: 3.23 beta

how many torrent do you have in daemon? 10? 100?

261 now in past more than 300

I have a similar issue, but when the working set reaches (circa)1.7 gigabytes, 
the memory usage drops down to a 60 megabyte, and the "inflation" starts over.

I have 1.206 torrents in the daemon.

OS: Windows 7 Ultimate Service Pack 1 bukd 7601
Transmission: 2.22 build 12099
Remote: 3.24 build 0
