Book Publishing #6

Hey Aaron- I am looking into publishing options for a book series I want to create to help teach kids coding in a playful way. My first book I want make a board book and maybe an interactive iPad book. This would be targeted for ages 6 months-4 years old. Parents who want to learn will learn basic terminology and concepts with their kids as they read together.

I am old friends with geed.ski and loved your YouTube Videos together! The zap one is a classic! My husband is working on becoming a developer (He has 8 yrs of higher education and 3 in web design/ux). He is working on becoming a Ux Developer. We wish he would have started these coding books as a baby and saved us all those student loans and hard years of getting him into a solid career.

I have completed most of codeacademy.com working on freecodecamp.com and LOVE/hate it! :) Feels so good when you get into it but so frustrating when you are stuck. haha. I am a homemaker with with a background in Elementary Education and 4 kiddos 8 and under. I am teaching my kids as I go so they can be useful and employable from a young age. My 8 year old is a big Flexbox Zombie lover. I have a strong passion for teaching coding in a fun way and I am looking for which direction would be best. I have looked into self publishing and the pros and cons of that. I was wondering your opinion on trying to go through O'Reilly since they are technically focused. Would you share your experience and thoughts how you would go about this? Thanks a bunch!
