What is the new application?

Mendeley Reference Manager has somewhat recently replaced Mendeley Desktop.

App site is: https://www.mendeley.com/download-reference-manager/windows. I will try to find time in the next days to figure out the download info, but wanted to pass this along now in case someone else has time before I do...

Vendor site

https://www.mendeley.com/download-reference-manager/windows

Does the vendor require a sign-in to download the app?

No

Does the application include an updater?

Yes

Have you reviewed the list of supported applications?

Should Mendeley Desktop be removed after this is added, or stay in Evergreen?

Mendeley Desktop isn't a supported product any lomger as I understand it and won't be updated. All their doc is now how to migrate and backup your citations from the previous app to the new one. The current download URL in Evergreen still works, but won't get any new versions.
