Builds on top of Promise catching and limit expanding PRs to add one commit which addresses the following:

Fix: Provide refactoring for IndexedDBShim (issue #87).

I haven't tested it with the shim though.

Something seems busted in this PR, it's showing all the history, not just the change

If you could review the PRs in order, then I can rebase the subsequent ones like this one once you're satisfied with the previous ones. It'd be easier for me in the case of these PRs I think.
