server should start

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
ubuntu 12.04 32 bit 

Please provide any additional information below.

Am getting following problem during scan time 

./adb: 1: ./adb: Syntax error: ")" unexpected
./adb: 1: ./adb: Syntax error: ")" unexpected
./adb: 1: ./adb: Syntax error: ")" unexpected
./adb: 1: ./adb: Syntax error: ")" unexpected

will you please solve my problem..
