Not possible connecting Zipato Smart Smoke Sensor to Athom Homey #52

HI

I am using Iphone 7. Homey App -> Device -> Add New Device -> pick a brand, Choose Zipato, See IMG_1 -> Choose a Device, Smart Smoke Sensor, see IMG_2 -> Install, See IMG_3 -> <install a Z-wave Device, See IMG_4, I am following the instructions: Press «Resett» on Device 3 times within 1.5 seconds. Noting happens on the app, nor on the device

What is the problem? • is the device added as "general"? please provide the following info: manufacture id, product id and producttype id • does it stuck while pairing or it does it not pairing at all? then try to reset the device, remove the device from zwave network and try again. make sure the device is close to homey while pairing. — You are receiving this because you authored the thread. All Your recomandations have been tried multippel times:

did you use the reset button and not the 'test' button (https://www.domotica-blog.nl/image.axd?picture=/2019/Heiman/Rookmelder/heiman-smart-smoke-sensor-HS1SA-hd-installatie.jpg). When pairing is started (by pressing 3 times on the reset button), a led on the device sould blink green. When this is not happening, the device does not start the Inclusion Process.

Hi Did use the «reset» button and pressing 3 time within 1.5 sec. Nothing is happening and the Device are not blinking, no signal at all.

i think your device is broken. according to the manual, when the led is not blinking, Inclusion Process is not started. so homey (or every other controller) cannot pair with this device.

Hi I dont think so. I have bought 4 devices and all are acting the same way. However, when I press the resett button and hold for 3 seconds, the device starts blinking. Homey does not react on this however.
