build fail when Arducopter is defined in hardware configuration #90

Closed GoogleCodeExporter closed 8 years ago

GoogleCodeExporter commented 8 years ago
What steps will reproduce the problem?
1.Define #define ArduCopter // ArduPilot Mega (APM) with APM Sensor
Board
2.Select verify
3.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
expect to build but build fails

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?

Please provide any additional information below.

I think what you did was uncomment #define HeadingMagHold. Last I was
involved, there wasn't a clear mounting of the mag, so I didn't define this in
the AQ code. Commenting this out allowed me to have a successful build.
Please let me know if this helped so I know to close this issue or keep working
it. Thanks!

Hi Yes uncomenting headingmaghold allowed me to compile, but as expected i now
no longer have magnetic sensing capabilities.

Thanks

Yes, Aadamson is testing this now, the ArduCopter guys didn't finalize (at
least last I knew) how to mount the mag, so I didn't include the object
declaration in it yet. I'll close this issue, but please look at
http://code.google.com/p/aeroquad/issues/detail?id=93 to see when it is
officially fixed. Thanks!
