When I was playing some 720p h264 video, it will be very slow. Could mplayerx
support
the new GPU api in osx 10.6.3?

did you turn on the ffmpeg-mt?

and slow,
do you mean the playback is cluttered,
or the computer become not so responsive?

I check the ffmpeg-mt option is on.
It seems that everything is good at first, but about 20min later the playback
will be slower for
seconds. It won't affect the system performance.

What's the benefit of increasing the number of threads in Preferences? :)
Should I increase it on MBP4,1?

I have not dig into the code of ffmpeg.

But I think the best value is the number of the cores.
