I have that checked and it hasn't ever done anything for the past 2 versions of
MPlayerX.

fixed in r958,
former versions will quit only when window was closed by user,
now it will be closed when the playback is over.

I download this application from AppleStore but after tried to open some movies
I could not quit this program and can not switch off my MAcBook too. Is there
anybody to help for solution? Thx a lot

I think you could use Activity Monitor to "force quit" MPlayerX.
but I am not sure the reason that the menu item is disabled.

i have the same issue where my mplayerx won't quit and i can't shut my mac
down.anybody knows how to solve this?
