WinFF 1.5.0 - Can't Pick Different Formats Unless You Close GUI #194

Closed GoogleCodeExporter closed 9 years ago

GoogleCodeExporter commented 9 years ago
I'm running Slackware 14.0 x86 and I compiled 1.5.0 from source and I noticed
that if you pick one format and convert the video, then try to pick another
format and preset you can't do this unless you close the GUI and reopen it.

I've played with this many different ways for 1.5.0 and it won't work.

1.4.2 and 1.4.3 don't have this problem for me...

Sorry if I didn't make a detailed report here, didn't seem like much to report
other than the fact that if you want to do several differnet formats, each time
you have to close and open 1.5.0 over...

THANKS

Oh sorry if there is any confusion when I said on the first sentence;

you can't do this unless you close the GUI and reopen it.

Of course you can use the menu and pick different formats and presets, it's
just that it doesn't do anything unless you close the GUI and repopen it. This
is what I meant...

THANKS

Have you noticed the "Apply" button at the right bottom appearing if you select
a different preset? What happens if you press that?

Ahhh the old Apply button, hehe, I wasn't paying attention, because I was so
use to 1.4.2 & 1.4.3 without this, I never bothered to look. ;)

So it looks like this is working! :)

But one thing I noticed, say as an example someone closed using WinFF for
whatever reasons, then when you open it again, just change to a preset first
then click Apply you get a popup error if you don't have a file added first.

Take a look at the screen shot.

Not sure if you want this behaviour or it can be made to apply a change to a
different preset before having a file added.

THANKS

Please open a new bug if you find new issues. It is difficult to track them
otherwise.

However, I think this bug is fixed in svn in revision 741.

Anyway, closing this bug as the apply button works.
