Hey just saw this, that's a brilliant idea. I haven't thought of hosting images on the wiki but I agree, let's move what we can out of serratus/img
.
img/dia/
, img/logo/
: these aren't so useful for "documentation", but it also isn't necessary for keeping in the base repo. We could move them to the website repo (serratus.io/src/assets/
) or keep them here for now.img/markdown/
: images referenced by notebooks should probably be put alongside counterparts somewhere in the serratus/notebook
directory. serratus/notebook/img/
?covref.JPG
, serratus_overview.png
, serratus_pipeline.png
: these can be moved to the wiki.
I've added a
serratus/wiki/img
folder to that repository so that all the documentation images can be in one place. This actually would be a good point to migrate theserratus/img/
toserratus/wiki/img
as those all technically fall under documentation/wiki and not part of the core code-base.For now we can leave the images in the README and CONTRIBUTING in
serratus/img
but should eventually redirect those to the the wiki folder as well. This means when people download the repo.zip, they don't download a bunch of images.@victorlin if you get a chance let me know what you think of this and we can decide.
