This bvfilter has important bug fixes compared to the last version on drive5.com, which has been deleted.
Latest bvfilter displays version number on startup e.g. v1.0.1439, where the last integer (1439) is the subversion commit in my private repo pending porting to github. This to help in dealing with version dependencies until my code is better synchronized with serratus.
