How is this different from hdfs du from twitter? #1

I see it has integration with ambari but can the sandbox take and load the visualizations from the other cluster?

The HDFS Viz is not different... in fact that is what Dave started with and expanded upon that work. In short yes it can do visualizations form any cluster. When you bring up the view, there is a setup page where you can change the Namenode host in the HDFS setup tab.
