SAP Business Technology Platform=>Working with abapGit has great info.

The above page mentions a official abapGit distribution of SAP, perhaps only for the CLOUD BTP.

That is a good page but applies mostly to BTP. SAP forked abapGit years ago (something like v1.86) and added several new object types. Unfortunately those have not been added to our open source version. So in general we won't comment on or fix things there. That's SAPs baby.

Feel free to add ideas here that would help other AG users
