to #1 OK, made it differently - just re-cloned the repo and cherrypicked the changes. BTW adding travis config so it can be enabled

note that it will run on travis-ci.com instead of travis-ci.org

Should be fine. The script does not mention it. And the readme badge seem to follow "com" link (but URL needs to be checked ... I just reconstructed the link from analogy)

UPDATE: seems to work :)
