Can stream to VLC (mobile) but not to MPDroid #823

I can control the player using MPDroid, but there is no sound. I see no way of adjusting the volume from within MPDroid and pressing the volume buttons seems to pause the playback.

I can listen to the songs I've chosen with MPDroid on mobile VLC.

MPDroid version is 1.07.2. Android is 6.0. Device is Moto G2.

+1 exactly same issue. I can open the stream in VLC and in Chrome, but not in MPDroid. I suspect i have the settings wrong somewhere in MPDroid, but not sure what.

I could stream fine with version 1.06 - so I guess this is an issue with my device / ROM?

Had same Issue, try to disable Battery optimization for MPDroid, this fixed Streaming for me.
