Is the package applied for other abb robots? I cannot understand the role of the file robot.urdf.
Hey. It is only used for the model described in the repo. The urdf is used to generate xml descriptions of the robot's kinematics. And then this xml is used with ikfast implementation to generate kinematic and inverse kinematics of the robot.
So this is a procedure you could follow to get the IK for other abb robots for example.
