I have contacted the OpenSubtitles admin about it. In part, he said:
"you can use for example subdownloader or any other user agent - which support
logging in."

"If you use program, which doesnt support log in - write to developer - and in
this way you will fix it."
I must say, I greatly prefer periscope.

Everyone should request a personal key from BierDopje. Using a shared key is
not viable (as that key is actually public as the code is opensource and I
can't control how people are using the python module)
I'll put a wiki page to explain how to configure periscope to pick up that key.
