Hi,
I'll be working on adding the missing field in the future. it's not a bug..
For the second, issue, I published a new release v0.5.2
Thanks for your response.
QUESTION ABOUT MISSING FIELDS: Very understandable while you are developing the program. I entered the data originally ino Windows Contacts, which Microsoft is now trying to push people away from (originally into People, but this is is now deprecated in turn, so I am trying to find a permanent solution).
So my fields are those in Windows Contacts, and I hope that all those fields can be implemented in VCard, and in vCardEditor. As I said, I noticed Other email (twice), Birthday, Company (Org), NIckname.
QUESTION ABOUT PROBLEMS WITH DEFENDER: I downloaded the new version 5.2 posted 8 hours ago, and deleted config.xml in order to start afresh. But Defender still intervened as before on Right-click —> Open with. Defender's message was: WINDOWS PROTECTED YOUR PC Microsoft Defender SmartScreen prevented an unrecognised app from starting. Running this app might put your PC at risk. Application VCardEditor.exe Published: Unkown publisher. I clicked `Run anyway', but this time, the fields are no longer blank, so something has been fixed. And as before, Defender was silent on subsequent uses of 'Open with'.
VERSION PROBLEMS: Your response above, and the current GitHub download site, both say V0.5.2. But the EXE file metadata, and the UI's 'About', both say V0.4.0.37670. Yesterday the versions mentioned were V0.5.1 on Github, and V0.4.0.22693 on the EXE file metadata and 'About'.
Also 'About' says 'Copyright 2015', which is eight years out of data, and 'About' also gives no helpful URL or other any detail about its origin. Are these the things that Defender is grizzling about, or is it a straightforward Certificate issue?
I think is better way to split one big issue to small ones. For example, check out and fix Copyright etc.
I splitted this issue in two small ones : #32 and #33 For the defender part, I don't think I have the solution as said on issue #30
Dear Abdel,
Thanks for taking the various things seriously — I am not a techie, so I will leave to the experts now. All the best in your endeavours.

Thank you for trying to sort out the confusion about VCF files on Windows that has resulted from the deprecation of Windows Contacts, followed by the partial disappearance of People. I have just downloaded vCardEditor V0.4.0.37670, and it looks very clear and concise.
PROBLEM 1: Where are the Notes? I have added long Notes to a large number of my contacts over the years, with significant data, and although they are visible in the VCF files viewed as text, I can't see any of them in the vCardEditor window. Perhaps I am not seeing a button on the screen.
Other fields that were present in Windows Contacts also seem to be missing: Other email (twice), Birthday, Company (Org), NIckname, and perhaps others, are in the VCF file, but not on the vCardEditor screen.
PROBLEM 2:
I am well aware that the program is under development, and I hope that my two comments will be constructive.
