We can cheaply add basic support for numerous languages by implementing generic fetchers for sites like Tatoeba.
We should utilize existing libraries and vendorize them - the existing Make-based build system will probably become unwieldy after we add more than a couple of dependencies.

Is there anything I can do to help to add Spanish support? I am not sure if you are still planning to keep developing this.

I use the add-on every day and it's actively developed.

Did you try adding es to glosbe.py? I'll make this change or maybe add a way to use Glosbe for all languages.

Yes, I added es to glosbe.py, but it didn't work. I also tried it with English and it didn't work, so I'm guessing something changed in the web side?
