What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. You don't have to follow any steps, it works like this normally
2.
3.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

That the program shuts down gps completely and after preset interval turns it
on.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system? - Newest

Please provide any additional information below? - I think that program keeps
gps in standby
but still so that it does not completely power off gps, it uses batteries and
by means of that the
device doesn't work too long. This has been tested on HTC Touch HD.

I think this is an operating failure.
Please stop logging (and switch off GPS in version 4) if you don't want to have
GPS
running. It is also good practice to exit GCC.
It is a feature that GCC can log tracks in standby mode, of course the GPS must
be on
to do so. But there is a feature to run GPS only for a short time in given
intervals
to save battery - see readme.htm.
