Auto connect to binded WiFi network no longer works

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Select Auto Connect
2. Choose Binded Network (wi-fi, in my case)
3. Connect to Binded Network

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
SSHTunnel should auto connect to the SSH host.  SSHTunnel does not 
auto-connect, but connecting manually works as intended.  Auto-reconnect 
feature also fails.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
SSHTunnel v 1.5.4, Android 4.2 (Google/LG Nexus 4)

Please provide any additional information below.

I have the same problem on my Galaxy S3 (Android 4.1.2, SSHTunnel 1.5.6)

This function has worked on my phone a year ago. So its probably a problem with 
a newer Android version?

The autoconnect option of ProxyDroid still works very well on my phone.
So maybe you can copy the code from there? (Which is as far as I guess also 
your app :-)
