Instead of naming the characters, why don't we name the players? We should ask for the player's name before they get to the lobby screen that way we don't always have to ask for their character's name needlessly.
If we did use the character name that they put in for chat and stuff, we'd have two different names in the records; one for the chat in the lobby and one for the game, which I don't like.
