I believe this is fixed in the development builds and will be in release v.66

+1. I noticed this happening when I change the phone orientation from portrait
to
landscape (I am using HTC fuze). If I have entered a update/tweet before
changing the
phone orientation, it has the maximum probability to give error: "Cannot post
update,
please try later". On the contrary, when I change the orientation (the app gives
status as updating, changing orientation) and then pull menu to post update -
things
go fine with that post.

I do not even get the message "Cannot post update..." It just hangs and doesn't
respond anymore. It only displays the windows busy four colour thing.

Thanks a lot - Verified this and looks good on my phone. App now does the
"switch"
to orientation after you hit the post/update in the landscape mode. Even
Tweeted
with a picture and worked fine.
Quick ? - Even after successfully launching the app and updating, it sometimes
gives - "Communication Error". What is it related to?

Glad it helped.
The "Communication Error" popup occurs any time there's a problem communicating
with
the Twitter servers. Sometimes your phone's net connection times out. Sometimes
Twitter's servers are down. It could be any number of things.
The internet on a phone is pretty unstable. It used to fail silently, but
people
were complaining that they weren't getting their updates when it was really a
bad
network connection.
