Fixed by c9b6008332c82c943bea855c9a8ab0f20d0d3793.

Level up

Text includes notification about the level up
XP bar shows only XP in the new grade
Grade stepper has the old grade and current grade highlighted, older ones shown with a checkmark

No level up

Progress bar shows old XP with dark blue, new XP with light blue, remaining-to-level-up dotted

Looks mildly weird on the very first race, but I think we can live with that for now.
