About Us: Story + Photos

For the About Us page, the first set of photos should tell a story -- maybe something like this:

We first came down from Berkeley on June 2010, and planted the church here in Riverside
Along the way, we met different people.
Our first Thanksgiving, we were...
Within a year, ...
This past year, we held our first baptism service
Now, we are ...

Something along those lines -- something that convey our story within the past 2.5 years. Thus, we need both photos and blurbs that accompany each photo. Maybe 7-8 photos or so?

Hey B.Le, can you take a stab at this? In addition to what I mentioned above, can you also include a photo of Steve and Eunice, and have a brief description for them?

Gary, can you take what B.Le wrote (along with the photos) and put them in the About Us page? You can just use the carousel for this.

All done. Just one question. The captions are currently h4 and its kinda.. ugly. Any suggestions of what to do?

Looking at the list/photos that B.Le came up with, maybe it's not the best idea to go down memory lane. (I have different issues with it.)

What if it's more "Come get to know us a bit" -- with these ideas:

Meet the staff. All of us graduated from a UC at one point in time, and...
Meet Steve and Eunice. Steve is the main speaker on Sundays, and Eunice...
June 2010. Some of us moved down from our church in Berkeley to start this church in Riverside...
..Starting with zero members in our church, we now have more than 60 who come out on Sundays -- many of whom are UC Riverside students.

...and find 2 (or so) more photos and blurbs..

Gary, can you add these blurbs back into the "Who we are" section. I've included the first two photos in the previous comment -- can you find matching photos for the rest?

Meet Steve and Eunice, who lead Gracepoint Riverside. They serve our church with a zeal to minister to college students. Steve's spirited enthusiasm and Eunice's witty humor are familiar hallmarks of our gatherings. On any given day at Gracepoint, you can find them planning for our church's activities, meeting students on the UC Riverside campus, and welcoming people to their home.
Meet the staff of Gracepoint Riverside. We're UC graduates with a passion to serve the college community at UC Riverside, and we started our church with a vision to have an Acts 2 church in every college town.
