Not remembering Library

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Open library and select song.
2. Hit back button until program is exited.
3. Open tunesremote+ back up
4. Search for artist.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Artists from my library should appear but instead "No artists found in this 
library" does.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
iTunes 10. Vista

Please provide any additional information below.
Although hitting the Home icon on the phone does not cause this problem, 
hitting the back button (the sideways U-turn looking button) does.

OK you mean its not remembering your Artists not your whole library it still 
shows you which song is playing right?

When you logged in the first time did you ever see Artists?  And can you go 
into Help->About and get your exact version of iTunes?
