Q. What Android hardware device do you own? (HTC Hero, Samsung Galaxy,
etc)

A: Droid

Q. On what Android operating system version? (2.1, 2.2, Honeycomb 3.0.1
etc)

A: Android 2.2.2

Q. What DACP server, OS, and version? (OSX iTunes 10.1.2, Windows 7
MonkeyTunes 1.5.1 etc)

A: MonkeyTunes 1.5.2.0, Windows 7

Q. What TunesRemote+ version? (found on Menu->More->About)

A: 2.4 - but my phone does not actually show it at Menu->More->About

Please provide any additional information below.

MediaMonkey or MonkeyTunes does not remember my pairing. Is that normal? If I
close MediaMonkey and restart it - i have to pair it again. seems like it
should remember the pairing but perhaps this is the way it has to be done.
Also, i am still trying it out - but how do i know how many times (of the 20
permitted for testing) that i have left to try it? thanks, skibone.

30 times for testing but it should DEFINITELY be remembering your pairing.

The only thing I can think of it is not saving your pairing file at:

C:\Users\[USERNAME]\AppData\Roaming\MonkeyTunes\MonkeyTunes.xml

Also you can look in your log file for any ERROR:

C:\Users\[USERNAME]\AppData\Roaming\MonkeyTunes\monkeytunes.log

a GUID error but not sure how to fix that.

Yep so TunesREmote+ tried to login with this...

2011-07-25 23:04:51,780 [INFO ] - (3) - 3689:
/login?pairing-guid=0x6496ECD942EEB4A4

GUID =0x6496ECD942EEB4A4 = 7248241068174390436

And 7248241068174390436 is not found in your MonkeyTunes.xml. Are you somehow
shutting down your server ungracefully causing the GUID not to be stored in
MonkeyTunes.xml?
