So no matter what search you do it brings back your entire library? This
sounds possibly like a forked-daapd issue?

Using the iOS Remote app does produce the expected search results. So there may
be a forked-daapd issue, but it seems like there is also something different in
the way searches are executed?

I test against MonkeyTunes and against iTunes with TunesRemote+. So whether it
may be something different about the search that TR+ is doing it is respected
by the DACP spec.

Is anyone still maintaining the Forked-Daapd codebase? I have been getting
tickets reported here but TR+ definitely uses standard iTunes DACP queries and
my thinking is the forked-daapd codebase has not been modified in a long time.

Have these issues been reported to the Forked-DAAPD developer? I have not
seen any progress on these.

I suggest opening an issue with Forked-DAAPD here:

Closing as invalid as this is a Forked-DAAPD issue.
