Not working on mac #103

Please try again by allowing photon to access documents in settings.

After I reinstalled the app. It worked a few times. I was able to send files from my mac to Android. But then this started showing up. The app was unable to open the finder popup. Also I was unable to send files from my android to mac. Because the mac was unable to detect the android even though we were connected to the same wifi. Since scanning QR is not an option in mac. The transfer was unsuccessful.

Thanks for reporting the issue. This is happening randomly. The fix would take some more time as I am not aware the exact cause of this yet.

I just want to know if you are running on apple silicon or Intel chip. Also if possible keep reporting issues in future as well.

Please check the latest development build which works for macOS ARM as well.

Is there any limit for file size?? I am trying to trasfer a 270 mb mkv file from my pixel(running android 14) to my mac(running latest macos). It keeps failing.

There is no limit. Please install photon android from Play Store, do not use latest build from development. Only for mac build use the dev build. I have tested file transfer between Android 13 and ARM mac running on Sonoma.
