couch process start feature should be modified to run correctly on non-windows platforms #4

Although this is far less straightforward than windows, there are only
handful of /typical/ install locations on unix that should cover most
scenarios.

Lets aim for support for at least out-of-the-box Ubuntu, Fedora, and Suse
installations, and OSX if a standard distribution exists.

After further research there just isn't a typical enough scenario on ANY of
these systems to justify building functionality into this library.

 * OSX: Couch only available the CouchDBX desktop app (not a daemon). MacPorts can't build couch or erlang on 10.6 due to some 64bit
issues, no fix in sight.
 * Linux: .deb and .rpm packages exist, but support is minimal. Good experience on Ubuntu, but total failure to get couch running on
openSuse 11.2.
