Feature request: running with shared disk space #415

I plan to run gc3pie and ggeotop on a cluster (SGE) where (a) each node has 
access to the same disk, and (b) later, this can scale to include nodes without 
access to this disk.

Can you add a flag to optimize gc3pie/ggeotop for running in "shared disk 
mode"? Here, the overhead of sending back-and-forth the data can be saved.
