Can't connect to company wall #23

Closed GoogleCodeExporter closed 9 years ago

GoogleCodeExporter commented 9 years ago
What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Created app
2. Logged into FB as me
3. Switched view to company page
4. Step 2 in FB Wall configuration tells me to go back to my personal page

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

I'd like to add the app to my corporate page, but I'm asked to redirect to my
personal page

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?

2007 Sharepoint Plugin

Hi Larry,

After creating facebook app and while generating the access token you need to
login from company account and not the personal account. Then provide this
access code in the webpart.

The issue is that the page where I want the app does not have a specific
owner. There are admins, but when I go to create the app, it's under my
account. There's no way to switch to the specific "user" for the page.

You are using Facebook as COMPANY NAME

To access this page, you'll need to switch from using Facebook as your
page to using Facebook as yourself.
