Cannot edit links bug #356

Open GoogleCodeExporter opened 9 years ago

GoogleCodeExporter commented 9 years ago
Keynote v1.7.9.1 (beta) and earlier

Perhpas I am doing something wrong, but once I insert a link there is no
obvious way to edit it. When I right-click the link, the context menu does not
contain an option to 'Edit...' the said link. Likewise, there none of the menus
contains this command, which I find rather surprising.

This problem is the main reason why at the moment I currently use The Guide
instead of KeyNote.

After a little experimentation, I found that clicking a link allows you to edit
it if the following setting is in place:

Tools > Configuration Options... > Actions > On URL click = Prompt

I can now click the URL and edit it. This method feels like a workaround. Links
should work the way they work in The Guide. Options to remove and edit a link
should be available from the context menu on right-click.
