Deep Learning Simplified Repository (Proposing new issue)

:red_circle: Project Title : Cervical Spine Fracture Detection
:red_circle: Aim : Create a prediction and detection model which will detect the fractures in the spine.
:red_circle: Dataset : https://www.kaggle.com/datasets/jirkaborovec/cervical-spine-fracture-detection-npz-3d-volumes
:red_circle: Approach : Try to use 3-4 algorithms to implement the models and compare all the algorithms to find out the best fitted algorithm for the model by checking the accuracy scores. Also do not forget to do a exploratory data analysis before creating any model.

  1. Prepare the dataset by standardizing images
  2. Augment dataset to increase diversity
  3. Exploratory data analysis on the dataset
  4. Train the dataset using Deep Learning model CNN and its various structures like ResNet, LeNet
  5. Assess the trained models using accuracy scores

  1. Performing EDA to understand the distribution and variations in the data, checking the distribution of fractured and non-fractured cases, etc.
  2. Data Processing - Performing Normalizing, resizing, and Data augmentation.
  3. Model Implementation - Implementing 3 DL algorithms CNN, U-NET, RESNET.
  4. Model Comparison - To find the best-fitted algorithm based on their accuracies. What is your participant role? gssoc'24.
