It would be nice to have a command line parameter (Or config file entry) that would define how many seconds a notification would be displayed for. Failing that, some way to re-display the most recent notifications after they've gone would also be good.

Added --display-timeout command line option. Closed by 27c66ed674a5cc7ae0fefe0822f77f7691c8c354

If no --display-timeout is set then the notification daemon's default timeout will be used.

Also worth noting is that NotifyOSD seems to ignore the timeout.
