Replace the "hl=en" to "hl=zh" in src/mapServers/googleMaps.py and re-download 
your
tiles then you can get rid of the English tags.

r766 add a setting of 'language'. You can select 'zh' and restart gmapcatcher. 
Newly
downloaded tiles won't have English tags.
