Feedback to the user that it downloads maps #142

What new or enhanced feature are you proposing?

You need to tell the user that the application is actually downloading the
maps, while it does so. All I get is a red spot. I killed the app twice
because I didn't know that it downloads the maps, I thought it just freezed.
Also, each time I zoom in or out, I don't know if it performs something.

What goal would this enhancement help you achieve?
use the application
