What new or enhanced feature are you proposing?

Mousewheel/scroll zoom like Google Maps and every other map service does. 

What goal would this enhancement help you achieve?

Create the experience of using Google Maps offline.

Mouse wheel should work fine...

what OS are you using, does your mousewheel work on other applications?

Windows, on a laptop running the Synaptics touchpad interface software. On some 
other apps failure to detect scrolling has also occurred. Works in my browser, 
though. I suppose it's a Synaptics problem.
