Create a new track (addition to issue 350)

What new or enhanced feature are you proposing?

Hello

It will be useful to be able to create a track. The method could be the same 
than the one used to edit the track (discussed in issue 350), except that the 
user will start from scratch and not from an existing track.

What goal would this enhancement help you achieve?

The user can use the map to identify possible paths that are not easy to spot 
unless one spends a lot of time at home zooming and panning satellite pictures. 
Once the path has been identified, the user can then create the desired track 
by clicking the map on points along the identified path.
The track can then be exported to whatever portable device the user takes 
outdoors.

You can already do this by pressing F7 to open ruler tool. Then just make your 
track, press F7 again to close the tool and it gives you option to use the 
ruler as track. This track behaves like any other track and can then be 
exported via Track Control.
